Last Friday was the first day ever that a window was open in the living room.Until the windows were replaced last Nov/Dec, there was nothing that opened in there.
We sure are thankful for some ventilation and maybe even a breeze off the lake!
The raspberries are comingand there are scads of them!
The old, old roses at the farm have not done well for the last 3 or 4 years. I have worked on them; they are doing better now. I couldn't bear to cut them back as much as they probably needed, because then I would miss that heavenly scent when you walk out of the front door. Love it!
This is what it looked like on our last day at the farm. It rained pitch forks - which is a very funny thing to say - just like it used to when we left the lake. As kids we always felt the place was sad that we were leaving. We sure were! In this case we knew it was coming and had gotten many things into the van before hand.
