LAST THINGS

Here are some pictures that by now or very soon will be gone forever.
Sad but true and very exciting too!

The red stool is my favorite perch. It is right next to the wood/electric stove (which is going), so it is a cosy spot. The stool will show up in the new kitchen. And the kitchen will be new, but the inhabitants, both human and inanimate articles, will not be.

It is definitely a one woman kitchen!

We've had our last sleep in the house.

While we were on vacation, I even managed to make a few strawberry/rhubarb pies...

and baked them in this toaster oven. YUM!

We won't miss that!

The little pink lamp is packed.
In the next house we will even be able to use it because all the outlets will work!
Imagine!

This is what we cooked on for the last two years,
that & an electric griddle, slow cooker, toaster oven and electric tea kettle!
What a pain to switch things around to use the only two available working outlets!
The next kitchen has an outlet every few feet.
And they all work!!!! Hurray!

Paul will miss his luma lights. Don't worry, he won't throw them away!
What will he do with the antique replacement bulbs that he found at the Sussex Flea Market for $2. There must have been at least 6 of them when one new one cost around $12!
