This guy came right to our back door for a visit. His name is Charlie, but I am not the one who is on a first name basis with him. He may be young, little and cute, but he is a varmint and varmints eat plants!
We have not named the birds but we do enjoy them. What wonderful creatures God has created! They are simply amazing!
We have WINDOW BOXES! The red geraniums are growing in the window box liners, waiting for warmer weather.

This is what we are thinking
but this is what we are seeing.
We have 14 cm on the ground and more coming. The RCMP say the roads are treacherous and not to go out. We've had to cancel everything this morning: 8:30 Breakfast, Sunday School and the Morning Service. We hope to meet tonight.
The indoor gardening is going well. I also did some outdoor gardening but it was COLD and WINDY!
See the little robin?
The chickadees found our window bird feeder. When we see the birds, we wonder how anyone can believe anything but that God is the creator. "You ask me how I know He lives, He lives within my heart!"
Every month I click into a blog to see "The Cottage of the Month". Last December a house on Prince Edward Island was featured. You can see it here. The house has an "Anne" feel to it. I enjoyed the tour. Check out the new cottage of the month. Then come back and see what I have written down farther on the page.
She got me! Did she get you? I am glad that there is a real one tomorrow.

"Now also when I am old and greyheaded, O God, forsake me not; until I have shewed thy strength unto this generation, and thy power to every one that is to come." Psalm 71:18
"Let the words of my mouth, and the mediation of my heart, be acceptable in thy sight. O LORD, my strength and my redeemer." Psalm 19:14
"Have faith in God." Mark 11:22
"If you would find the men who serve God the best, you must look for the men of the most faith. Little faith will save a man, but little faith cannot do great things for God." "Faith's way of walking is to cast all care upon the Lord, and then to anticipate good results from the worst calamities." fromMorning and Eveningby C.H. Spurgeon
Our Blessings
I have been happily married for FIFTY YEARS to my sweetheart and best friend! We are SO THANKFUL for GOD'S ABUNDANT BLESSINGS DAY AFTER DAY AFTER DAY! "Great is Thy Faithfulness, Lord unto us!"
It is judicious for parents to cultivate a love of flowers in their children from their earliest years, as flowers have a refining influence, and never lead astray but always upward. –The Old Farmer’s Almanac, 1893
