I love day lilies!

Even the 'ordinary" ones are beautiful!
I have more, but no pics.
Our hard drive crashed, I didn't have my photos backed up.
Hope I learned a lesson!
The yellow day lilies are on the blog header.  I'll have to save that.

Before the storm (Arthur) the lake is drained.

This rose bush is huge and is covered with these little roses...

HOW THE GARDEN GROWS - AT THE FARM

I ordered some irises which are blooming for the first time.
They are repeat bloomers and so huge and so many bloom at once that they can't
stand up by themselves.

All the things growing here were in front of the old house.
I want to keep them as they were, just to remember.

The flowers by the fence at pretty much the same every year,
but they are soooooo pretty!

Duke University Gardens

While we were in NC, Sara took us to the Sarah Duke Gardens at Duke U.
They are BEAUTIFUL!
Sara had never been there before,
but I am sure it will not be the last visit.
I would be ready to go again now, because gardens change from week to week.
Here are loads of pics in no particular order.

Sara loved that red bridge.
I am sure she would be willing to be married over again to have their pictures taken there.
They were married in New Brunswick.
What could be better?
