A Fall Excursion

We went for a drive...
all over the Kingston Peninsula looking for a country market we heard about recently.
We f-i-n-a-l-l-y found the market, and learned a whole lot about the peninsula.
We waited around to see who owned this truck.

The man's dad bought the truck in 1966,
they had it ever since and recently had it restored.
REALLY NICE!
We have a "thing" about old trucks.

Unfortunately, the market no longer had a cook shack.
So we had to find another place to eat.

We were glad that the ferry is on a cable, because the current and wind would have taken it off course otherwise.

We stopped to visit the "Little Library"...

which is near one of the quilt squares...

which is right near the ferry.

Home again to our own little pumpkins.
They are still looking good.
I lined them all up on the island, hoping they would dry and not rot!
