The Little Cottage

Here is the little cottage we stayed in years ago, Cheryl.
I don't know why they planted and let grow such huge cedars.
Privacy? Noise?
It is too bad I didn't get another angle and it is also too bad that the color has changed.
I think it used to be a weathered gray
but then that was 1988, wasn't it?

We do have pleasant memories of that long ago trip to Bar Harbor!

THE TATTOO

While Dave, Sara and the kids were here, we went to the Tatto in Halifax, Nova Scotia. It is a terrific three hour program which we have seen before. Dave and the kids had never seen it. They enjoyed it and the boys were interested for the whole three hours. However the baby was really finished after one hour. We will have to do it again when she is older.

The REAL Anniversary

Here are Dave and Sara on the real day. They look happy! (must be because the kids are staying with Grampa and Gramma while they get away for a few hours!) They are looking more normal too.
The whole family was with us for ten days. We did A LOT with them and had a GREAT time. Scenery only photos will be posted on this blog. Pics of the kids will be on Gail's Grandkids.

The date was July 3.

VACATION AT THE FARM

I know I have been gone a long time.
First there was getting ready to go,
then being on vacation
and then gardening, washing and generally
getting settled when we came home.
I am still working at it.
Here are some pics of our favorite place:
THE FARM!

This is a new (old) cupboard. We have had the top part for some time.
This year we decided it needed to sit on something,
so we bought the chest at an auction. I love it just the way it is!
