THE WORK DAY

We had a GREAT church work day with a really good number of people working. There were many more jobs being done than what I took pics of, mainly because I was working myself.

Smile TJ!

Jennifer was one of the painters. I put my camera around the door when I snapped her, but I couldn't get Angela and the door wouldn't open any farther. They were working on redecorating a bathroom...which really needed it. It is not finished yet.

The auditorium project

Replacing ceiling tiles
This made a BIG difference!

And there is always a sidewalk, or in this case a pew, supervisor!
But Stephen DID work too!

Jacob sandblasting the parsonage foundation

My poor, poor garden path
Oh, well, it will get better!

ARE YOU READY FOR THIS?

Here are some pics of the house after the foundation has been sandblasted
and the walls have been power washed in preparation for painting.

My hollyhocks were along that wall. I had to dig up all the plants along the house. That is one incentive for getting the painting done. Nothing can be replanted until at least the foundation is painted. The power washing was only done on this side.

I guess this will be a whole summer project. Right now it looks like we live in a ghetto. The geraniums do look pretty in the wheel barrow though!
