Maritime Delicacy

We, or I should say I, wait every spring for the fiddleheads to grow. They are the beginning of ferns before they leaf out and they look like the end of a fiddle. They are delicious! Years ago they, along with Atlantic salmon, were fed to Prince Charles and Princess Diana. That was when they visited Saint John and Prince Charles called it "St. Johns." 50,000 people groaned because he did not know the difference between Saint John, New Brunswick and St. Johns, Newfoundland! I don't think he would make that mistake again!
