Gardening in the City

About now I am wondering who in the world decided to keep adding gardens around here! It is such a big job to get things in order at the beginning of the season. I have not had time to take pics of the flowers that are blooming because I have been getting rid of weeds,etc. Things are looking better. I think I can see the end of the beginning of garden work.


This is the new garden we added the year before last. I am working on the stepping stones and the creeping thyme which will fill in around the stones. There is always more to do, but it is looking more like a garden now.

Yesterday I spied a GROUND HOG on the other side of the lake. I sure hope he stays there!!! I don't know if he was the one who feasted on my petunias last year...
