LADIES' TEA

Last night we had our 5th annual Ladies' Tea. It is always a lot of work but also a lot of fun. This year we decorated with a rain/flower theme. The centerpieces were little girls' rain boots filled with flowers. We also had some bright flowers on the walls and umbrellas here and there. The menu included dainty sandwiches, sweets and a yummy romaine lettuce, mandarin orange and pecan salad. Sandy treated us with this salad last year when we stayed at her B&B for our ladies' overnight. (We are looking forward to our overnight on May 30 & 31!)

We always have many visitors at our tea, as our purpose is to present the gospel to our friends. Sherri Warner was our speaker and she gave a wonderful message including her personal testimony. We know that God used her and we expect to see evidence of this in the future. I am sorry I didn't get a photo of Sherri. There always seem to be too many things about which to think. Although I look forward to this ocassion, I am happy that it is now in the past! Spring is so busy!

Love your theme and decorations ~ I was hoping to see a pic of Sherry W too! Oh well, now that we are closer, maybe I'll see her in person real soon! ♥
