Were you wondering about Mary?

Mary finally had her hip surgery on Tuesday night, after waiting since Sunday. She had been very confused for much of the week because of her pain medication. She told me tonight that she thought that she fell in her kitchen but I found her on the bedroom floor! She has been in quite a bit of pain. On Thursday, I was at the hospital when they got her up to walk a few steps and it was painful to watch. Friday she looked and acted a lot brighter. She has been informed that she cannot go back to her own home. A BIG SIGH OF RELIEF has gone up from several people who have been involved in her care. She has even given the go-ahead to finding a new home for her kitties. And it will not be at our house, thank you very much!
