Easter is almost over but resurrection day is NEVER over for the believer! It has been a wonderful, full day. Actually we started on Good Friday with an 11 AM service with our two other fellowshipping churches in Moncton. We heard a wonderful message plus lots of good music which honored the Lord Jesus Christ and His sacrifice for us. Then we enjoyed a lunch together with many friends we have known over the years. This spring it is 25 years since we first went to Emmanuel Baptist for their 25th Anniversary!
We started today with a Easter breakfast with our church family. This is always a really good time followed by Sunday School (yes, the whole family studies the Bible!) and our Morning Worship Service. I was in Children's Church. That keeps you hopping! I brought EMPTY, blown, colored eggs (decided against coloring them there) depicting the EMPTY TOMB of Christ as Sara had suggested. What a joy and responsibility to teach children the most important lessons of their lives! What a wonderful day we had celebrating the fact that CHRIST THE LORD IS RISEN AS HE SAID! It is even more special to know Him as my Saviour and my Friend.
