A Day at the Farm

Most of the time I really like blogger! At other times I could scream!!! Today is a screamer! I couldn't get my slide show to go on, then it went on THREE TIMES to the WRONG BLOG!!!

Enough of my frustrations. I will leave it here until I can figure out how to get it on Gail's Garden, the blog for public consumption! I wanted Cheryl to see the pics on her Saturday blog review!

As you can see, we went to the farm yesterday with two boys. Jonathan and Jacob had never ice fished, or fished at all for that matter! They LOVED IT!!! The day was beautiful! We had a winter wiener roast, which is really fun. I hiked up the road to see if our neighbor was home. She wasn't. If she had been, she would have given me a cup of tea but I survived until I used my "roll up the rim" free tea at Tim's in Sussex. I sat by the kitchen stove fire with a good book and, yes, we did use the outhouse! Hey, it works! Paul dealt with water pouring out of a pipe in the cellar. Otherwise the water is not working.

On the way home, we stopped to view three factory-made homes. We do this quite routinely, hoping some day to replace our cute, quaint, falling down farm house. We would love another old house but sometimes a warm, mouse-proof one sounds really good!
