The EBAY Experience!
Yesterday I had my first experience of bidding on Ebay and it was quite an experience! Infact I was a nervous wreck and I did not get the object I was bidding on! I had been watching two fabric cutters for rug hooking and had learned something about the bidding process. It really didn't make much difference if I got it or not because my rug hooking friend and neighbor has a cutter which I can use any time I want! Rug hooking cutters tend to be expensive and are very much in demand. I am hoping I will find one sometime without having to pay an arm and a leg for it! Up to this time I have done all my cutting by hand with a handy little sissors which will cut through 4 thicknesses of wool That is the same sissors which I lost on our way to NC but replaced with another nifty one on Dec 26 so that I could continue working on Sara's rug which is shown here. The rug is finished and inside her front door.

Yes, I graduated from Pillsbury in 2003. My dad also graduated from there, in the 70's. My family attended Fourth in Minneapolis from around 1980-1986. I used to listen to the singsperations on the radio as a kid, and I remember you all stopping by Pillsbury maybe in 2001 or 2002. Nobody except my Pillsbury circle has ever heard of the "Hash Chorus". Sings seem to be fading out anymore. Oh well.
I must have stumbled upon your blog from someone else. I don't remember for sure who it was.
Please do pray for my dad. We hate to leave him in the hospital every night. He is getting better, but has a long road of chemo and radiation ahead of him. He was 7 months from retiring and this is taking a huge toll on him in all aspects of his being. He needs to give away his anxiety.
Gail, the rug you made for Sara is beautiful. I want you to show me how to make one (if we are ever in the same place at the same time again). Love you lots, Cilla
