Last night we had a peaceful candle light dinner with Christmas music playing in the background. We knew that a storm was coming, so we were feeling the need for some coziness!
The menu:
Broiled Fresh Atlantic Salmon
Buttered Parsleyed Potatoes
Squash & Cauliflower
Waldorf Salad on a Lettuce Leaf
We woke up today to a blizzard which started during the night. When we woke up we were without electricity and heat. Here I am snuggled up near the fire to keep warm! 
And here is the cheerful fire! We were thankful for it!

And there is our van half buried by snow. We were not plowed out until late in the afternoon. It would not have done any good to plow before then anyway! Yesterday we took a walk before supper. Not today!
