Can you imagine a new toaster at the farm? I can't! We have been using the one we received as a wedding gift almost 43 years ago! Andy replaced it at home when he gave me one for Christmas more than 10 years ago. The "new" one in the city can toast wide slices or bagels. (I am a bagel lover!) Lately the "old" toaster has been protesting. We are always having to dig the pieces out. Could it be that all bread is fatter now and is that why we are all fatter?
The new farm toaster is also a wide slice even tho I have sworn off bagels until I am skinnier!

So the "old" toaster has been relegated to a top cupboard shelf...just in case. Just in case what? I doubt that the new one can match the record of our old GE! And 43 years from now we will be... We'll have been in heaven for quite some time and won't give one thought to "old" or "new" toasters! "...and so shall we
ever be with the Lord!" I Thes. 4:17

Ha ha! Mom and Dad finally had to replace their "original toaster" too! I think there was threat of electrocution...anyway, it was a fire hazard! It really is ok for a "new one"...just think how tired 43 years of toasting would make the "old one"! Love to you...and happy, safe toasting!
