THREE WISHES!

#1. TO SLEEP OVERNIGHT AT THE NEW HOUSE!

our old bed with a place to hang clothes on the posts!
We left Moncton at a few minutes after 7 AM to be at the farm to meet the man who was installing the air exchanger. We, once again, tied mattress and box spring to the top of the van. Guess who helped bring it up from the basement! :) We went through some very foggy patches on the way.
AND our neighbors arrived just when we were ready to carry the mattress and box spring into the house, so all I had to do was hold the door open.

This is dawn on Friday from the guest bedroom window.
We are in the guest bedroom with our old poster bed.

#2. TO TAKE A SHOWER AT THE FARM FOR THE 1st TIME EVER!
A SHOWER!
A HOT WATER SHOWER!

This is the medicine cabinet from my friend, Mary Brown's house.

#3. TO MAKE AND EAT BREAKFAST AT THE NEW HOUSE!

I'm afraid things were in a bit of a kerfuffle at the time,
but we did make scrambled eggs, English muffins, coffee and tea!

This is how the eating area looks now.
You will notice Lisi in her rightful place between the door and the window
(just like in the old house, except that the door and window were reversed.)

This is the old breadbox that Sara painted for me.
Even tho we like old stuff, somehow it looked a little tacky for a new house.
So I painted it...trying to copy Sara's work.

It looks cleaner and not too, too bad, eh Sara?
I didn't give you a real close-up look.

The desk we bought at an auction last summer for $25.
It is now in our new living room.
We found out that our neighbor, Dale, went to the school house where the desk used to live.
Small world!
