RED DOORS

I hated to think of naked looking doors all winter,
so I consulted my paint man to see if I could still paint.

He said it was okay as long as the temperature was at least 10 degrees,
but that I had to paint the doors gray before I could paint red.

So I watched the weather with a thermometer outside the door.
All seemed to go well until I opened the side door in the morning.
The gray paint had slid down the door.
It hadn't dried and then rained!

Front door

Side door
Not too much harm done except that the side door isn't finished yet (note the masking tape),
because I had to give some of the gray another coat.

It will look even better when the black shutters arrive and are installed!
