Today is the birthday of my very dear, sweet husband. I am so thankful for him.We have been wonderfully blessed and we have such a good time together.
We went out for lunch today to a restaurant that gives a free birthday lunch!
Actually this was a very good thing for them. When we went before, we were very unhappy with the meal. They redeemed themselves by giving a free lunch. In all fairness to them, the previous lunch was a buffet which was less than impressive. Today's lunch from the menu (they discontinued the buffet) was delicious and we will go back! That dessert in front of us was a brownie something or other which we shared. Couldn't have eaten it alone! Very rich!
He will get his fav birthday cake, chocolate cake with boiled icing, on Saturday for the church picnic! He agreed to this and he is not suffering.
