A FOUNDATION IS VERY IMPORTANT!

Paul was very happy that we got to the farm in time on Tuesday to ask for
a little hole for a fire wood chute into the basement. Cute, eh?

The whole place will look different.
It needed to and we are excited!
I was looking at the house pics of before we started tearing things apart and a felt a bit sad.
Then I remembered all the downsides, and there were many, with few upsides at that point.
We will love all the conveniences...
things we don't even consider to be conveniences in this world of ours:
like hot water, shower, electricity that works, for a few.
Oh, and warmth in the winter! That's a good one.
I can remember skating on the kitchen floor, among other things.
