When it's gone...
it's gone!
Dad thinks you should hang it on a wall...
preferably over a thermostat! (family joke)
It is actually in the mail!
We took the package to mail and then decided to go out for lunch to celebrate. Across from the post office was an antique shop that we had never visited before. Imagine! It just does not seem to be open very often. In the shop, we found this little gem (approx. 21"X19"X9"). It is a little child's cupboard, just right for a little girl, or maybe for a gramma's house when the little girl comes to visit. That depends on if the little girl's mom wants it. Of course the mom would paint it but... the gramma hopes she would keep the aqua knobs because the gramma likes them. The grampa thinks it was made by another grampa because it is not fine carpentry. The grampa would have to do a little work on it.
SO now we have a nice blizzard going.
A perfect time to attack that pile of ironing which has been neglected on account of the quilt.
Tomorrow we will attack all those threads and bits of fabric lying around on the floor.
Many times I am sad when I complete a project.
Not this time! Have to get on with my winter projects before gardening season!
(The package has stuff for the boys too!)

And again- the quilt is BEAUTIFUL!!!!
What a wonderful quilt! What are the pieces (Skye's dresses?) How big is it? I love your chair pads too!
Hi, Gail! I know this was a big project & it turned out beautiful. Henry used the yellow & red quilt yesterday (the one that you made Becca when she was born). The yellow & red quilt lives at Grandma's house for the time being. If Becca has a girl, then it will go to their house!!
