kind of dumb. But now I treasure each one!
They are precious to me because she made them with her own hands...
hands that made so many things for me and so many others.
I have so many wonderful Christmas memories.
Not only did she crochet one for me, but for Cheryl, Cilla and Connie too!
I am not sure how anyone could get through life without having a Norwegian mother.
(Paul would agree, I am sure!) Right now I am feeling a little teary.
Guess I'll go eat a krumkaker. That will fix me up! Actually my great grandfather was an undertaker. My great gramma would feel so sorry for the people and would say,
"First ve (not a typo) have coffee!" A cup of coffee and a Norwegian cookie still can make anyone feel better!

If you get cold, your tree skirt could also become a very nice shawl:)
How I enjoyed seeing these ornaments! I treasure the ones she made for me too! Love, Connie
I see you got more handmade ornaments from Mother than I did. Some of mine were just "store bought". I always knew Mother loved you more!! Hee, hee. Vith Lov, Cheryl
Cheryl, If I had known back then that I had more of the little beaded ornaments than you, I certainly would have given you some. But now... tough! Ha, ha! Come and get them!
