I can't believe that I forgot to take pictures on Christmas Eve.Well, maybe I can. I was busy with the meal. Here is the "fire and ice" centerpiece
we made with cellophane, a candle in a jar and water. We think it is really neat looking!
We did have fish and potato lefse. It is only "fake" lutefisk. We can't get lutefisk here because there is no Scandinavian population. This year we could not even get cod and had to make do with haddock. It was good anyway and our guests enjoyed it. We also had an appetizer of Couquille St Jacques (sans the wine) which we had for our anniversary years ago with Dave and Maggie Kahler.
I did get a pic of our guests. Then we went to our Christmas Eve service.I am sure it was very nice but I was in the nursery. Someone has to do it! :)
