Old Christmas Decorations

This is a little trip down memory lane.
Lots of old decorations...
all with memories!

The first two were made for me by Cheryl
and not so very many years ago.

Susin Farnham cross stitched this for me in '91!

There was always a bowl of nuts to crack in our house at Christmas time.
This rose mauled bowl is from Norway. It was a gift to my gramma for her birthday on May 16, 1955. On the side in beautiful writing it says, "Helsing fra Norge. 16/5 1955" (Greetings from Norway and Norge is pronounced Nor-ga)
*If you ever come upon a red and white pottery pitcher that says Norge on the bottom,
it was stolen from our farm house.

This was made one year for our seniors' dinner in SJ.
As you can see, it is made with tiny puzzle pieces and
I wouldn't recommend making it unless you have
more patience than you think you need for the task!

This was also made for the seniors' dinner and was lots easier!

Nancy Flinck gave me these ceramic angels and helped me paint them.
Her mother taught ceramics. (There are three all together.)

I made this Y-E-A-R-S ago for Andy.
