After our visit to the Museum of Appalachia, my sister told me about this book.She said it was a book about people who live (that's now) in the mountains,
just like the area we visited.
The book is actually for kids,
but who cares?
A good book is a good book,
and this is a good book!
The story includes a mine disaster.
This is my first experience with the author, Phyllis Reynolds Naylor,
but it certainly will not be my last!

I am so glad that you liked the book. I loved it & thought that my sisties would too! I told Cheryl about it as well & she is going to try and find it at the library. Love your pictures!
