We also celebrated Remembrance Day in our church services today. Americans are much more patriotic than Canadians, but Canadians seem to honor their military people more than Americans do. Maybe it is just because of where we are or have been that it seems that way, as far as honoring the military. We used to go to the Remembrance Day service in King Square when we lived in Saint John. We have not found anything as good as that observance since. Around here you are undressed if you are not wearing a poppy in remembrance. We owe a great debt of gratitude to those brave men. We have much for which to be thankful. We trust that God will continue to grant us the freedoms which we have always enjoyed. If He chooses to allow those freedoms to be taken away from us, I pray that we will be faithful to Him as He is to us!

HAPPY EARLY B-DAY! That cake looks really yummy!
I would say that when we were in Canada this summer that people seem very patriotic. SO many people wear Canada t-shirts and at the tattoo people were waving the flag around everywhere.
Nice picture of you and the girls! Abby's going to miss sitting with Mrs. Smosgurk!
