We were at the farm last night to make sure no mischief was done on Halloween. We have always tried to be there for Halloween, but have not always been able to make it. We have never had anything happen, however it was evident that someone had tried to get in. I said we should make a sign pointing to the outhouse just in case...We do have people who hunt on our property. Someone was there today. Anyway... this is what our beautiful maple tree looks like now! We knew the last time we were there that the tree would soon be bare.

This is anotherI took all the dishes out of the cupboards that the mice can get into.
I don't think they can get in here. So next spring I can clean the cupboards out and not have to wash all the dishes and silverware too.
Have to run...company for dinner tomorrow...

Nice pictures- I wondered where did all the leaves go that fell from the tree? I did not see any piles.

The leaves blow away! It has been windy here. And it is COLD today, -6 degrees C.

No damage...we always leave the Lord in charge and He keeps His eye on things!
