The Backsplash

 I have been wanting to get to this job for quite awhile, but there is nothing like

a visit from my daughter and kids to get the ball rolling.

This is paintable wallpaper which looks like the old tin and leather wall

and ceiling coverings.

 

 The first step was moving all the counter stuff.

I am not an empty counter person.

 Then came the wall papering.

 

Then painting and rubbing a stain on it.

My paint guy says I need to use exterior varathane on it.

I will do that at some later date,

but it looks finished now.

And I like it.
