Canal Park in Duluth

Duluth has always been a favorite place of our family.
When we were kids we would head there on a rainy day at the lake.
However more times than not, the sun would come out and it would be hot,
which is not usual for Duluth on the shores of cold Lake Superior.
Then we would moan because we were not in the lake.

We've always gone to see the lift bridge. It has always been an interesting place. The big lakers come through and the bridge lifts so that they can get into the harbor and unload. We have not been there for quite a few years and it sure has changed and developed. It is a fun place!

The museum has artifacts and stories about ship wrecks.
We didn't spend much time there this trip. It was a lovely day for being outside.

I suggested that we go to the top of the Radisson for lunch, but that was vetoed. The top revolves as you eat, so you get a lovely view of the city and shoreline. However Paul gets motion sick, even tho it moves very slowly. It ruins his lunch. We went to Amazing Grace and it was amazing. We would go back again...
if we ever go back again!
