We left home on Christmas Day to travel to Sara and Dave's. I had not seen them since November of 2008 and Paul, not since July of 2008, so we were really ready to see the grandkids, as well as their parents! We hustled to Amish country near Lancaster, PA, so that we could see "The Miracle of Christmas" at Sight and Sound.
This was a production of the Christmas story. It was very true to scripture, very well done with wonderful sound, sets and acting. It made the familiar story of Christmas so real. There was even an invitation for salvation given after the performance with opportunity to talk with an usher.
We certainly hope to go back again! The next Bible story is "Joseph."
We wish we could take our whole church with us!
