How do I get into these messes?

Last Friday a little friend came for a visit.
We had things to do.
Here she is making cookies for our tea party.

And she is lots cuter without the mask, but it was the day before Halloween after all!)

Then we painted some jars to put tea lights into for our
Family Fun Nite on Saturday.

I guess I didn't get everything totally cleaned up before I started more projects on Saturday...
Here I had some flower arranging to do.

I found that some of our apples were going over-the-hill,
so I had to make an apple pie.

More mess...
but it was good!
