Today my friend, Doreen, and I went to a maple sugar camp to rug hook with other rug hookers. It was a beautiful day! We had probably a 15 to 20 minute walk through the woods to get there. It was fun to rug hook with other ladies and also look at their projects. Here are some pics from the walk. I was so impressed with the woods, the day, the walk, that I didn't even take pics of the works of art. I learned something new which I will make for my sisters. I think they will like what I am going to make and it won't take long! I bet they will be really curious! IT WAS A FUN DAY, but, for some reason, I was tired when I got home! And then we worked on Ladies' Tea decorations in the evening.
I should have mentioned earlier that you need to notice the stove pipe of the sugar shack. It is made from many, I didn't count them, old oil drums! Very original!!!

What a fun day! I know why you were tired...walking with a load of craft supplies uphill..."why in my day...I just loaded my things in the van and drove uphill both ways..." A...HA...HA I am sad that there were no pics of the inside of the building and crafts...it looks so quaint! I am a curious daughter to one of those curious sisters!!!! Love to you all, Kari
