A STUDY IN DOORS cont.

There is no door here, just a curtain for "Sara's room." We call it that, even though Sara has moved on to her own doors, because she wanted this room when we were first thinking about buying the farm. The room is very small...just room for a single bed and a tiny chest.

This is where I keep all my garden tools!

The bathroom door
(we try to ignore the sign!)

The outhouse
The moon on the door is supposed to mean it is for ladies!
(We ignore that too!)

I loved the tour of doors! Especially since I have had the opportunity to walk through, open, close, or peek in all...except the outhouse! Thanks for sharing an appreciation of yet another simple thing...where do you get such good ideas? xoxoxoxo

Kari, we have a pic somewhere of Brad, Mari and Allie sitting in the outhouse when it was being built. I should hunt that one up!
I forgot to say it was built from old barn boards after we pulled the barn down.

so should I comment and say that this post is "door-ky"...? you know I'm just kidding, but I couldn't resist the pun...actually, I wish we could come up and see some of those doors in person...when it's warm, of course!! The farm is a wonderful place.

I like your pun, Dave! That was very good! And we would like it even more if you could come to the farm and, yes, summer is best!!!

I loved the tour also, it was difference looking at old doors.
There nothing likes old items. It makes a conversation forever.
Don't forget to post your beautiful window in your bedroom.

Thought: The faintest knock of faith opens wide the door to forgiveness.

Loved the tour of doors. I loved your front door -- both sides!

I loved the tour! I love unique doors, windows and fixtures. In a subdivision I guess we get used to cookie cutter houses... but your tour is the cure for common house boredom. :)
