Last Wednesday: A weather bomb, meaning it was a horrible blizzard, 0 visibility, howling winds, drifting snow, the worst storm of the season.
Last Thursday: Digging out day after 41 cm of snow and drifting snow! - no school Wednesday and Thursday
Sunday: Freezing rain started in the afternoon and continued, along with blowing snow, throughout yesterday. No school, of course.
Today: ANOTHER BLIZZARD, would you believe??!! Lots of power outages in New Brunswick. No school again
I think of this as "the winter which will not end." I do not call it "The Long Winter" as in the Laura Ingalls Wilder book. They were cold and starving. We are warm and well fed. We have not lost our power. We have had some down time. God is good!
Today our van is stuck fast in the ice. Yesterday it was too nasty to go to the farm even in the 4 wheel drive truck. That's nasty!
