The "New" Shed and new mailbox location

Ben built a shed while he and Sherri were living at our farm.  He intended to take it with him but it got too big to move.  It was the same size as the original farmhouse - 16'X20' - big for a shed you plan to move,
small for a house.  All winter it sat without a roof.  In June Ben & Paul put the roof on - Ben being the carpenter and Paul, the gopher, or is it Go For?
I took photos at that time, but evidently the computer ate them!??

This is the ramp Paul made.
He hauled soil for underneath and then planted grass.
I think that is pretty clever!

Here are the trusses they put up.
Ben was on the roof (he scampers around high places like a monkey!)
Paul lifted the trusses up to him.  OUCH!!
Boy, was he worn out and sore that night!
They worked from 7 AM till suppertime.

Now he is putting weathered shingles on the front.

I guess I don't have a picture of the whole thing.
I'll be sure to post one when he finishes the front.  Then you will see his doors that are weathering too
You can see the big old hinge from our blacksmith shop on the door.

This may not be exciting to anyone else, but it is to us.  We still have our mailbox at the end of our driveway.
It looked like we would have to go to one of those community mailboxes down the road,
but a nice lady who works for the PO discovered that we could move our box across the road
and meet all the requirements for placement.  It is easier to see the red flag where it sits too.
