We started the day with a breakfast at 8:30 AM (not too sunrise-ish!)This is always a special church family time...
lots of food...
good fellowship.
This year 48 people attended!
We worked hard on the table settings...pretty spring colored table cloths and napkins...
spring flowers plunked into sap-like buckets.
And VOILA
instant SPRING!
The weather is LOVELY too!
Dessert, anyone?
No matter what the number attending,we always come up with plenty of food!
Waiting to be fed!Not long now!
(Don't they look pretty in their pinks with the green table cloth and gold napkins?)What a special day when we celebrate the resurrection of the Lord Jesus Christ!
But then, every Sunday is resurrection day for the true believer!
How sad it is that many don't realize that Jesus paid the price of our sins in full.
How sad that many try to "help" with the price that they cannot possibly pay!
One of my favorite books of the Bible is Hebrews where we read that after Jesus suffered and died, He sat down at the right hand of God the Father, signifying that His work is FINISHED!
The price for my sin has been paid FOREVER!
"But this man, after he had offered one sacrifice for sins for ever sat down on the right hand of God;" Hebrews 10:12
